The primary mission of the St. Andrew’s Society of Tampa Bay, Inc. is to “Celebrate and Promote Scottish Heritage” in the Tampa Bay Region.
The Society is made up of about 200 members from the greater Tampa Bay Area who wish to share their common heritage through their attendance at Scottish-oriented social events and historical activities. The only requirement for membership is an interest in Scottish heritage and the requisite fees.
Over the years, many functions have been organized for the enjoyment and enlightenment of our members. (see Event Calendar). The Society publishes a newsletter, the “Tartan Tatler” two times a year containing articles of general interest to Scots and to our members including notices of Society activities.
At certain functions, you will see clan tartan banners mounted on specially designed standards. These have been donated by members to represent their clans.
There are many interesting and exciting people in the St. Andrew’s Society and we hope you will develop a wide range of acquaintances among them as a prospective member.
